I wrote last time about finishing the codebase of YourPCM version 2 and how I was ready to get stuck into testing, tweaking and twiddling with it before moving on to other things ...
Well, that's all done now. It's just been a case of using my own copy of YourPCM v2 and seeing what works, what doesn't, what doesn't do what I want it to do ... well, it's been a fun time and I'm pretty certain everything is working the way it should.
I've also written the conversion scripts to get my existing subscribers from version 1 (old, slow and boring) to version 2 which is smaller, faster and better (baby!). The difference between the two is night and day.
I can't wait to show it to people properly!
My first upgrade will be for my bestie Kirsty Parris. Now, although Kirsty is my best friend, she is actually a business owner in her own right. She's also one of the very few people who's opinion I trust, so I'm looking forward to upgrading her in a few days and seeing what she thinks.
Apart from that, I've got to get the onboarding emails finished and keep on adding question and answer sets to the newly renamed Aimee, my AI support chatbot. She'll be fielding 80% of all enquiries from subscribers so I have to ensure she'll be able to answer any questions they have quickly and easily.
I'm releasing YourPCM v2 on the 1st of December!
As I seem to be a complete month ahead of myself now I thought I'd bring the release date forward to the beginning of December instead of waiting for the start of 2025. This gives me November to get all my existing subscribers upgraded and get the emails and AI sorted out ready to go early.
I'm getting excited for the new year though! I'm very much looking forward to being an entrepreneur again and stepping away from the codebase for at least six months (apart from bug fixes of course!).
Anyone interested in trying out YourPCM v2 in December can now signup to my waitlist at https://www.yourpcm.uk and I'll be in touch soon.
Based in the charming village of Hanslope in Buckinghamshire, UK, I bring over 30 years of experience in web development. From creating my first website for the Open University in 1993, through being part of the dot com boom, to my explorations in SaaS and AI over the last few years, my journey has been a rich tapestry of web projects, big and small, both funded and bootstrapped.
Originally developed during the pandemic, at the start of 2025, I released the next iteration of YourPCM, version 2, which is all about 'Easy Contact Management for Small Business Owners'. Is it a CRM? Yes, but I don't call it that because people glaze over at the mention of such things. CRMs are boring, difficult to get to grips with, and it's a nightmare to get help when you need it.
YourPCM is none of those things! It's simple to use, well-supported, feature rich and beautiful, right out of the box. It's available on a simple monthly subscription with no long-term tie-in. Book a demo or grab your own 14-working-day free trial and discover why YourPCM is all about easy contact management for small business owners.
