Turning coffee into code since 1993 ...

While many people put their feet up over Easter and spent time with friends and family, my long weekend saw me at my desk, dunking Chocolate Hobnobs in my coffee, moving the sBlogIt! v2 project further along. And now we're at the start of May, and I'm pleased to say that it's entirely finished and being used to create blog posts for my subscribers ...

sBlogIt! Share your thoughts, With the world, through ones and zeros, Words that never fade

sBlogIt! Share your thoughts, With the world, through ones and zeros, Words that never fade

Coding to me is the best way to relax. I guess no one can witness this unless you sneak into my office without me knowing, but when I'm in full flow, I am the most chilled I can be, apart from being horizontal and asleep. I love coding that much, so there's no need for people to tell me to relax, because I do ... a lot. My entire purpose in life is to write beautiful code.

My goal for April was to complete the new
version of sBlogIt!

I started work on it at the beginning of February, and yes, I have completed it now. Blogging signed off, Sharing signed off, Mailers signed off, Stats page signed off, and then I spent a few days in test, tweak and twiddle mode, ensuring everything was working as I expected.

I was quite lucky that I wrote an earlier version of sBlogIt! last year which you could call version 1.5, but it was using old AI models and needed a lot more work to become something that I would be proud to use for myself and my blogging subscribers every day.

I've got people who've been blogging with me since 2013, and this week I took on a new one too. Hopefully the first of many!

I've taken on my first new blogging subscriber and his first blog post went out yesterday on the 1st May (can you guess who it is yet?) and I presented a '5-minutes with sBlogIt!' presentation a couple of days ago to a virtual networking group I am part of which went down very well with the members.

The great thing about sBlogIt! v2 is that is combines all my coding experience with everything I've learned about AI over the past year or so. Words, images, audios, Haiku's for image captions, AI Search questions and answer sets ... I've been using them for ages, but now I've combined them all in one place to allow me to create blog posts more quickly, and give me more time to pay attention to getting them perfect each and every time.

You see, Artificial Intelligence is great for creating words, but you need a human to edit them and turn them into something a business wants to share, but people also want to read. AI can't do that on its own, that's the part I'm really good at.

Remember, AI is here to support us, not replace us!

So, before I start rambling on and on about how great sBlogIt! version 2 is and how I can support many more blogging subscribers now, I'm simply going to say that if you want a no-obligation demonstration of sBlogIt! v2, then do get in touch and I'll show you around.

This weekend will be the first weekend that I'm not coding. Time to give my house some attention and my aquarium a little TLC. I'm particularly looking forward to a lazy day tomorrow.

And some scrummy food, of course!

Love, light & logic ...

About Steffi Lewis ...

Steffi Lewis

Based in the charming village of Hanslope in Buckinghamshire, UK, I bring over 30 years of experience in web development. From creating my first website for the Open University in 1993, through being part of the dot com boom, to my explorations in SaaS and AI over the last few years, my journey has been a rich tapestry of web projects, big and small, both funded and bootstrapped.

Originally developed during the pandemic, at the start of 2025, I released the next iteration of YourPCM, version 2, which is all about 'Easy Contact Management for Small Business Owners'. Is it a CRM? Yes, but I don't call it that because people glaze over at the mention of such things. CRMs are boring, difficult to get to grips with, and it's a nightmare to get help when you need it.

YourPCM is none of those things! It's simple to use, well-supported, feature rich and beautiful, right out of the box. It's available on a simple monthly subscription with no long-term tie-in. Book a demo or grab your own 14-working-day free trial and discover why YourPCM is all about easy contact management for small business owners.

My head is in the cloud, my heart belongs to the web, and my soul is filled with such beautiful code 💗
