Turning coffee into code since 1993 ...

I released YourBOT this week, but there's still a lot to do!

It's finished! It's published! It's out there in the wild. People are joining for free, creating their bots and installing them on their websites, then subscribing. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement ...

YourBOT, it's chatty, Awesome like the lunar lander, salute the bot!

YourBOT, it's chatty, Awesome like the lunar lander, salute the bot!

It's been an intense four months. From my initial conversations with ChatGPT over the summer to knuckling down and starting coding sometime in early August, through late nights, consumed weekends and total focus on what I'm doing, I finally released it last Tuesday.

Apparently, I don't understand the
phrase, 'Pace Yourself Steffi'!

I was originally planning to release YourBOT on the 1st January 2026, but as I approached the end of the project and could see the light at the end of the tunnel (no, it wasn't a train coming the other way), I naturally accelerated what I was doing and just got on with it.

I then thought, "Well, a soft launch on the 1st of December then?" but once I'd got the website up and running and the sign-up scripts sorted, it was a case of "Publish and be damned," and I hit the go button last Tuesday.

And I've had signups, installs, chats and leads, and it just works, and I'm thrilled it's out there in the wild and working for people. I've even had my first 5-star Google review.

So what's next? Well, still a lot of marketing prep for the New Year. I'm working on my 60-second intro for networking events as I feel I'm being a bit techie with it, but I've done a couple of presentations on YourBOT this week, and people seem appreciative of what I've created. There'll be my usual "5 Minutes With ..." slide deck at some point, too.

So still a lot of work to do, but I can at least
'take my foot off the gas' for a while!

YourBOT is my Magnum Opus; it is the culmination of 32 years of web development experience, combined with the added advantage of AI and all its knowledge. I really couldn't have created such a good SaaS product without the help of ChatGPT, and if anyone ever tells me AI is rubbish, I'm happy to fight them.

This wasn't vibe-coding; this was a true collaboration that produced something greater than the sum of its own parts. 10 times faster and 100 times better. Thank you, Sam Altman, for creating ChatGPT. It absolutely rocks.

Anyway, just wanted to put a flag in the ground for the end of the coding project. What will I do next? Not sure, but I'm having thoughts about creating YourPCM v3 at some point. But that's for 2026, so I'll get to thinking about that next year.

For now, I'll just enjoy the feeling of being incredibly proud of myself.

Love, light & logic ...

About Steffi Lewis ...

Steffi Lewis

Based in the charming village of Hanslope in Buckinghamshire, UK, I bring over 30 years of experience in web development. From creating my first website for the Open University in 1993, through being part of the dot com boom, to my explorations in SaaS and AI over the last few years, my journey has been a rich tapestry of web projects, big and small, both funded and bootstrapped.

Originally developed during the pandemic, at the start of 2025, I released the next iteration of YourPCM, version 2, which is all about 'Easy Contact Management for Small Business Owners'. Is it a CRM? Yes, but I don't call it that because people glaze over at the mention of such things. CRMs are boring, difficult to get to grips with, and it's a nightmare to get help when you need it.

YourPCM is none of those things! It's simple to use, well-supported, feature rich and beautiful, right out of the box. It's available on a simple monthly subscription with no long-term tie-in. Book a demo or grab your own 14-working-day free trial and discover why YourPCM is all about easy contact management for small business owners.

My head is in the cloud, my heart belongs to the web, and my soul is filled with such beautiful code 💗
