When Is A Business Blog Not Just Another Blog?
When I originally started coding my core business blog product, I never realised that it would become so much more.
Some people do have the perception that what I offer is already out there. They think I'm re-inventing the wheel and wonder why I charge for something they can get for free. But what I offer isn't just a run of the mill business blog and it certainly isn't a WordPress clone.
"My creation has evolved into something far, far better!"
Let me explain. Your website is for people who are in the "need now" mode and they're looking for a supplier, right now, be that of business services or retail products. They mostly use Google to search for what they want, which is why SEO is very important for any website and good rankings are required. Ok so far?
So a blog is for people in "don't need now, but may need in the future" mode and that makes up around 95% of your potential market. They want to see what you're up to, they want to be given useful advice and tips they want to know they can trust you, and, in return, you want them to remember you when they're ready to buy.
"These people, the 95%, use social media and email and so should you be!"
So now you know all that, how can I help you to reach these people? Well, what I do for you is so much more than just blogging, so here's a quick summary of what you get in one of my 'marketing platform' blogs:
The Blogging Platform
My system sends out email reminders to you 72 hours, 48 hours and 24 hours before your publication date. I need a submission the morning before so I've got time to edit it and you've got time to approve it! You'll be surprised at how these regular reminders motivate you to get writing.
With a completely automated submission system, you can be anywhere in the world at any time of day or night on any device connected to email. Just send me your 'raw thoughts' and my system will pop it into the editorial queue then let you know that I've received it. Next time I log in, I'll schedule it properly and send you a confirmation email.
Your submissions are turned into blog posts the day before publication, I'll sort out the spelling, grammar, punctuation, focus and flow of your 'raw thoughts'. In the process of turning them into a blog post, I'll choose the right keyword/phrase to make it more appealing to Google (yes blogs appear in Google too), add headers and footers and also find a fantastic image that's perfect for your words.
As I never publish a new blog post without your permission, I'll send you the link for your approval and it'll also be sent to our external checkers as an additional scan of the spelling, grammar and punctuation.
The Sharing Platform
Once published early the next day, I'll share your blog post out to all of my channels and a number of my clients (lovingly called The Stefferati) will do as well. In addition, I'll submit your new blog post to over 100 news aggregators worldwide.
You can login to your blog at any time to check your visitor statistics, but more importantly, to share your blog post out to your own channels as well. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest are all there and each share is optimised for that particular platform, so for example, you don't get hashtags being posted to LinkedIn.
However, the Sharing Platform also allows you to share testimonials, sales messages, Youtube videos and industry news (that I can find for you) every day as well. If you have a buffer subscription then you can schedule them to go out later in the day. I find that sharing something every 2 hours is the optimal rate so 12 posts a day via my sharing platform - and all trackable - is a real possibility.
The Email Platform
We've all heard of commercial email marketing systems and we all suffer the effects of sending email so easily! How sick are you of getting those 'buy our stuff' emails over and over again? So I came up with a different take on email marketing: how about emailing everyone on your list about your new blog post each week instead?
My clients and I get open rates well over 30% and our click-through rates are around 7% with less than 0.25% unsubscribes per mailing. People want to hear from you, but they don't want to be sold to!
My Email Platform certainly does that for you and I'll even include those cool delayed popups to entice people to subscribe (by the way, my popup subscribe boxes can work on your website as well as your blog!).
So doesn't that sound like Wordpress, Hootsuite and MailChimp all rolled into one? Yes, it does, but there's a lot more to it than just that.
You spend just 20 minutes jotting down your raw thoughts each week then send them over by email and I'll take care of the rest for you! You get a perfectly optimised blog post each week, that you know has the right spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as a great image and some solid SEO to keep Google happy.
"And I can find you news, do your sharing for you and send your mailer!"
You can see that there is so much more to my platform than just the blog! This is why, when anyone asks, I say that my system is "a unique online marketing platform" rather than just a plain old business blog".
So how would you like to try it out without a long-term commitment? That's right, just like any other 'software as a service' you pay your monthly fee and can stop at any time (ok, a month's notice would be nice). There really is no long-term commitment.
I'll build your blog, edit your first blog post and you only pay your first monthly payment on publication. You'll then be rebilled each month for as long as you want to work with me.
If you now feel moved to find out more then let's arrange a chat about how I can help you to get seen on Google, get heard on social media, build trust with prospects, keep your customers and clients informed and grow your authority with your business networks!
I'd love to talk to you on 0333 335 0420 or fill out the form below and I'll be in touch soon.
