A Really Fantastic February
It Just Gets Better ...

Well, if I thought January was a phenomenal start to the year, then this month just surpassed that and continued to build on the lovely, bloggy goodness and both Faz and I had an Fantastic February here in the secret underground bunker at sblogit.com ...
we both deserve a glass or two of this after such a great month!
Our MyQ workflow is performing beautifully, enabling our clients to submit their raw thoughts directly into our systems and allowing us to work together to create their final blog posts. Everyone seems to like the additional contact we have with them because of the staged emails we send out and I'm very pleased we've not had to make anything more than a few minor tweaks to the system itself. It just works - and it was well worth giving up my Christmas holiday to develop it. Funnily enough, I was able to replicate the code to build a similar workflow for developing new blogs (MyB) as well as completing change requests (MyC) when clients need them. Well, why wouldn't I?
At the start of February, Faz and I found a quote by John Lennon which ended up becoming our infamous "share the blog love" tag at the end of our 60 second networking pitches. So we encouraged our clients to start "sharing the blog love" by liking, following and connecting with each other on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, then sharing each other's blog posts to their own networks. Having the private sblogit.com client group on Facebook has allowed us to encourage everyone to work together and each of our awesome clients has run with this idea and is seeing the benefit to their own shares by sharing everyone else's work!
Our traffic is through the roof thanks to all the extra shares and today (27th February) we've just had another record day for visitors to the network. I'm really pleased that we're sustaining a 40 degree mean growth curve and can't wait to see where we're at this time next year!
So what are we up to in March then? Well, more networking for a start! Faz has joined 4N Networking and has committed herself to 2 groups a week and as these are a little further afield than our normal Milton Keynes networking groups, we'll be able to reach even more future looking business people and share the blog love with them too! Of course I need to find a couple of new groups myself and although I have real issues with getting up early, I am trying to make an effort. I guess it'll become easier for me as the sun starts to rise at sensible times!
We've also started a new incentive scheme for our clients. We've produced A6 cards and will be circulating them at networking events. However, we're also going to give each of our clients a handful to give out to their own contacts and they can put their own names on them as referrer. If one of their contacts becomes a new sblogit.com client, then the original client will get some money off their monthly subscription for the duration. We think that's a really great idea and with only a handful of referrals each, our current clients could end up blogging for free!
Fantastic February was full of laughter as well as a lot of hard work and effort. Faz and I have really settled into our partnership now and we bounce ideas around, laugh with - and at - each other and generally have a great time moving our plans forward. There's just so much positive energy flowing between us and I know that will continue. It's so uplifting for the both of us.
I have a little formula that I use occasionally. I'm "Awesome Lewis" and she's "Outstanding Colbhie" so we say "Awesome x Outstanding = Legendary" which in our world means that what we can achieve together is exponentially greater than what we could ever achieve alone. We know where we're going and we know how to get there too. It's a tough journey but by encouraging, supporting and motivating each other, we know we'll make it happen ... and we're going to make damn sure that we have a lot of fun along the way!
January was just Phenomenal, February was absolutely Fantastic! I know we're both looking forward to March now; so bring it on Universe ...
The Bad Girls are ready for you!
